Adorn – A Figurative Exhibition

Figurative Artists | Veronica Cay & Izette Felthun

Rochfort Gallery is pleased to present a figurative exhibition ‘Adorn’.
The exhibition will run from 12 May – 20 June 2021.

Izette Felthun is a ceramic artist exploring and celebrating the female form.
Izette’s work investigates and knits two central themes: the utilitarian vessel; it’s inner, often inaccessible volume and its outer exposed skin and how this reality merges with our ideas concerning the female human body. The outer skin evokes desire and the inner volume is that of the female womb.

Veronica Cay devotes her art practice to life drawing and the journey through the human landscape. The continuous layering and energy transfer, captured between the model and the artist becomes a sequence of illusory movement across the paper.
